Set a beautiful Thanksgiving table this year!A Little Beachy

This pretty table with blue and burlap reminds me of the beach.  I love the use of antlers and other natural elements.  The blue is a little unexpected which is fun.

The white pumpkins are soft and neutral but orange would be nice too if you wanted a bit more of a traditional look.  I have a ton of sea shells but never thought to use them on Thanksgiving.  Bonus:  they’re free!

White on White

This all white place setting is stunning!  You could mix and match patterns to add interest.  I love the neutral feel.  This really lets the food be the star!

Set a beautiful Thanksgiving table this year.Traditional Fall Colors

Tradition is good.  These lovely fall colors are warm and cozy.  The plaid napkins give a more casual vibe.  Wooden accents and natural elements bring everything together.

You could mix different patterned plates for a funky twist.  Little pumpkins and gourds are still in the stores, so take a look while you’re doing your last minute grocery shopping.  A vase with some pretty branches from the yard would also make a nice addition.

Keep It Simple

The simplicity of this table setting is perfect.  You might even leave a pen out for guests to doodle.  Head over to Dawn Nicole Designs for more inspiration!

Au Natural

Wooden chargers and candle holders pair wonderfully with the green and gold pumpkins.  The floral napkins add softness and green tumblers and goblets are the perfect touch.

If you’re handy with a saw, you might find some of these elements right in your own backyard!  While this table is outdoors, it would be just as pretty in your dining room.

Easy Doesn’t Have to Be UglySet a beautiful Thanksgiving table this year.

If you’re serving a huge crowd, maybe paper plates make sense.  This table looks awesome with it’s cute shaped plates, wine cork place cards, and pretty ribbons.  Best of all, after dinner you can just sweep it all off into the trash and go watch football!

I saw some super cute paper plates at Hobby Lobby this week.  They were shiny copper squares with scalloped edges and they were 50% off.  You really can’t beat that.

The bottom line is you do you.  If spending the afternoon setting the table and creating beautiful place cards is your jam, enjoy!  If two hours of dishes after serving a dinner that you’ve spent two days preparing doesn’t sound like your cup of tea, maybe try some pretty paper goods this year.

Happy, happy Thanksgiving from Good Life Wife!  I’m so thankful for you…
