Don’t you love a thick, juicy steak? Me too! One of my favorite things to do is sit on the screened porch, sipping a cocktail, listening to porch music and waiting for the coals to heat up. John is strictly a charcoal guy, so it’s a bit of a ritual to start the fire and get the grill ready. Our favorite cut is a New York because it has such good flavor. Several years ago, John came up with this awesome marinade. Give a try! Happy grillin’!

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Worchestershire Sauce
  • 1/3 cup Olive oil
  • Juice from one lemon
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Garlic powder
  • 3 cloves Garlic crushed
  • 2 tbsp Thyme fresh
  • 1 tsp Black coursely ground
  • 1/4 tsp Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients.  Pour over steak and refrigerate overnight, if possible.  It will still be great if you only have an hour!
