Use this versatile BBQ rub on pork butts, chicken, ribs, pretty much whenever you need to rub your meat.  I make up a batch and keep mine in an airtight container so it’s ready when I need it.  It’s a little spicy, a little sweet and a little smoky.  You’ll find yourself wanting to barbeque every night!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup smoked paprika
  • 4 tbsp white sugar
  • 2 tbsp chipotle chili pepper
  • 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 2 tsp ground ginger
  • 2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Whisk all ingredients together and store in an airtight container.  Rub on pork, chicken or beef to give a sweet and spicy kick to your meat!
